The 2025/26 Denver Post Season To Share campaign is underway – donations matched at 50%
Please join us in making a difference for our neighbors in need in metro Denver by making a donation to the 2025/26 Denver Post Season To Share campaign. Donations up to $1,000,000 will be matched at 50% by The Denver Children’s Foundation and will support more than 50 nonprofit agencies with programs that focus on children and youth, health and wellness, homelessness and hunger. Each year grants are made to metro Denver nonprofit agencies with programs that help low-income children, families, and adults move out of poverty toward stabilization and self-sufficiency. The Denver Post Season To Share is the annual holiday fundraising campaign for The Denver Post Community Foundation, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, tax identification #27-4328521. Grants are made possible from the generosity of Denver Post readers, the general public, generous partnerships and corporate donations.

Originally established in 1992, as a fund of the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, more than $69 million was distributed through this partnership to improve the lives of those in need across metro Denver. In 2017, Season To Share became a program of The Denver Post Community Foundation. Through The Denver Post Season To Share, grants are made to local nonprofit organizations with programs that provide the vital support and services to the metro Denver community.
The Denver Children’s Foundation became the matching partner in 2019 and has since made it possible for countless live to be changed for the better through their generosity. Their support helped with the following:
- The 2024/25 campaign awarded $1,605,000 to 54 nonprofit agencies.
- The 2023/24 campaign awarded $1,371,000 to 51 nonprofit agencies.
- The 2022/23 campaign awarded $1,565,000 to 62 nonprofit agencies.
- The 2021/22 campaign awarded $1,700,000 to 51 nonprofit agencies.
- The 2020/21 campaign awarded $1,770,000 to 52 nonprofit agencies.
- The 2019/20 campaign awarded $1,400,000 to 55 nonprofit agencies.
For the 2017/18 and 2018/19 campaigns, DaVita served as the matching partner, where more than $3,000,000 was distributed.
