“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill
At The Denver Post our commitment to the community, along with providing the best in information reporting possible, has always been a critical part of the overall goal and mission of the newspaper. Through The Denver Post Community Foundation, we enhance our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve and to those in need in our community. It is a part of our on-going legacy and mission to ensure that the people we serve have the best possible opportunity to live the highest quality of life. Over the years, countless people have been served in our community and we are proud to have been a part of making a difference. All monies raised by our programs and events go directly to The Denver Post Community Foundation and are then distributed to nonprofit agencies serving the areas of arts, youth, education and human services.
In addition, we are grateful for our past partnership with the Robert R. McCormick Foundation to help build Season To Share, a holiday fundraising program that annually raises and distributes in excess of $2,290,000 to more than 50 deserving charities in the Metro Denver area, to the success it is today. This year we look forward to operating Season To Share solely within The Denver Post Community Foundation and building on the past 25 years of impact to the Metro Denver community.
We look forward to working with you in the future to improve and enrich the lives of those in our community, and to all who have supported these efforts, we thank you!
