Denver Post Community is proud to raise and distribute funds to local nonprofit organizations through Denver Post Charities/Season To Share and the new Denver Post Community Foundation.
More than $46.5 million has been distributed to Denver-area nonprofits through these funds since their inception.
DENVER POST CHARITIES/SEASON TO SHARE
Previously two separate programs, Denver Post Charities and Season To Share, both McCormick Foundation Funds, will be merged as of November 1, 2011. This new program will focus on alleviating poverty by funding nonprofit agencies in five guideline areas: Child/Youth Education; Hunger; Housing; Literacy; and Health/Wellness.
DENVER POST COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Denver Post Community Foundation strives to fulfill Denver Post Community's mission of improving and enriching the lives of those in our community by raising and distributing money to Denver area nonprofits in the areas of arts and culture; children and youth; education and literacy; and the provision of basic human services. Details on guidelines and application procedures will be available in early 2012.
